Refund Policy

Applicability

This Refund Policy supplements written contracts for Focuskernel engagements initiated after November 2025. Website-listed prices orient procurement conversations—they do not constitute checkout transactions.

Eligibility window

Clients purchasing advisory retainers directly from Focuskernel may withdraw within fourteen calendar days from contract execution unless services already commenced with explicit written acknowledgment.

Full refunds

Full refunds apply when Focuskernel cancels a prepaid workshop before kickoff or fails to assign agreed leads within the contracted schedule without an acceptable substitute.

Partial refunds

If delivery partially completes—such as delivered audits but aborted facilitation—refunds align with unused milestones documented in the statement of work. Third-party pass-through costs (travel deposits, printing) may be non-refundable when vendors refuse credits.

Non-refundable items

Custom research slices, vendor deposits, or expedited shipping triggered at client request are generally non-refundable once suppliers invoice Focuskernel.

Process

Email billing@focuskernel.digital with contract reference, banking details (for domestic transfers), and rationale. We acknowledge within three business days and aim to conclude decisions within fifteen business days.

Processing timelines

Approved refunds travel via original payment rails when possible; Korean domestic transfers typically finalize within five business days after approval. FX fluctuations may alter credited amounts when converting currencies.

Republic of Korea consumer statutes may grant rights beyond this summary—nothing here limits non-waivable protections.
